Korea is the benchmark for humanoid commercialisation. If it works there, deployment everywhere else is a question of time rather than of proof.

They hold the largest shipbuilding industry in the world, the third largest steel industry, and a globally competitive automotive industry, concentrated in a single country. Very few places put that much heavy industry within reach of each other, and it means a robot proven in one sector has three more within driving distance.

The average age of a production worker at the Ulsan yards has reached 48.3. Yards are turning down orders because they cannot put enough welders on them, and mills cannot run at full capacity for want of shift workers. It is not a Korean problem alone: US manufacturing is projected to leave 2.1 million jobs unfilled by 2030.

We have a joint development agreement with HD Hyundai, alongside HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering, HD Hyundai Robotics and Vazil Company, to build humanoid welding for shipyards. POSCO, one of the largest steel producers in the world, has invested and is working with us on heavy industrial sites. Gen 3 units are on the ground.
